Reclaim your time and energy… without guilt!

You wear too many hats to count, with enough commitments to fill a yearly planner five times over (at least). In fact, just thinking about what’s waiting for you in your inbox is making you hyperventilate.

Let’s do something about that, shall we?

I’m Dr Katherine Hofmann, a naturopathic doc based in Portland, OR specializing in mental health.

And if there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s that burn out will undercut your mental and physical health like nothing else.

Like, land you in bed for weeks… or even in the hospital.

Nope nope nope. You need absolutely none of that!

Around here, you’ll learn how to

  • re-conceptualize boundaries as a crucial tool for healthy relationships, not something to be afraid of.

  • get (re?) acquainted with yourself, so that you can make sense of what boundaries you need.

  • set boundaries in a way that’s aligned with your integrity and communication style.

My Background:

  • 18 month-long internship in integrative mental health care.

  • Received my Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine

  • I’ve been providing naturopathic care focused on mental health since 2019.

Plus:

  • I consult for a negotiation company, Negotiation Strategist Research. Meaning that I help people get other people to do what they want in the context of business relationships.

Here’s what: it matters to me that you’re able to show up bright, shining, and fearlessly comfortable being who it is you actually are.

Not as that person your mom wants you to be, or your sister or your aunt Betty, or your boss.

My work is to help you toss out allll those other voices of ‘shoulds’ (you know the ones: I should be spending more time working, I should be spending more time with my kids, I should have a cleaner house, I should enjoy my work more, I should work less, I should run every day, I should eat vegan I should go paleo I should I should I should…. ) and the judgement that goes along with them…

…. So that you can get clear on YOU and tune into and act on YOUR capital-T Truth.

Wouldn’t that be nice to have some quiet for a change?

To be in full control of your thought, time, energy, and money?

Yeah. I think so too!

Obviously I’m a touch biased… so here’s what some folks who’ve worked with me have had to say:

“...It’s just that I spent the majority of my the year in bed because of pain. Feeling so fragile and constantly wiped out. I’m still on a journey with my health but for the first time in a long time I feel empowered.”

“Very important: Dr. Hofmann, is kind, compassionate, caring, "Purposefully vested" on her patients. She listens carefully. I am benefiting by learning from her and allowing her guidance and collaboration. Gracias, Dr. Hofmann, mil gracias.”

“I cannot thank Dr. Katherine Hofmann enough for all of her support and care during my time working with her. She has listened to all of my issues sympathetically and is very proactive in helping me achieve emotional balance in my life as well as take care of my health concerns. I highly recommend her!”

What does it mean to be an ND??

Naturopathic doctors are trained as primary care providers, with options to subspecialize in fields like neurology, mental health, cancer care, endocrinology, and more!

My sub-specialty is mental health and longevity, which means that I provide top-notch holistic medicine for things like anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and the chronic diseases that decrease quality of life like diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and helping folks maintain critical functions like mobility and cognitive sharpness.

My methods are tailored to the person and their primary goals, including coaching/counseling, motivational interviewing for behavior change (i.e. you want to meditate more — how can we make that happen??), nutritional therapies, supplements, and herbal medicines.

Here’s a brief summary of my education and current professional memberships:
